A wildfire that has burned about 1,000 acres of grass and brush near Chelan also threatens 14 homes or outbuildings.
Chelan County sheriff's Cpl. Jason Reinfeld told The Wenatchee World the owners were advised of the danger.
The fire broke out about noon Sunday off Highway 97.
State, federal and Chelan County crews are attacking the fire from the ground and air using two air tankers and three helicopters, which are dipping from the Columbia River.
