SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. -

Fire crews have built a line around a brush fire spotted early Friday afternoon in the vicinity of the intersection of Trent and Harvard in Spokane Valley.

Multiple fire companies responded to the blaze, which burned about five acres. Crews were able to get a line around the fire and limited its advance.

Two structures -- an unoccupied house and an outbuilding -- were destroyed in the fire.

One firefighter was treated for a bee sting.
