SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. -

Spokane Valley police said the believe five people were doing donuts on the intersection of 11th Avenue and Homestead Court in the Spokane Valley, when they crashed into a garage.

At around 4:45 a.m. Thursday, Deanna Rector heard screeching tires outside her house. The next sound was a crash.

"It just felt like the whole house was shaking," said Rector. "I knew that something had hit my house."

When Rector looked out of her living room window, she saw a blue truck had crashed into her garage on the 1100 block of South Homestead Court.

The blue Dodge Dakota went through bushes and crashed into a trailer and two cars before ending up partially in her garage.

Rector said the driver of the truck was trying to back up and leave. She immediately called 911.

"Then I saw people piling out of the car and running up the street," said Rector.

The five people left, heading south. Rector said she thinks they were teenagers or in their lower 20s.

She said she's just glad no one was hurt.

Police are interviewing neighbors to see if they heard or saw anything.

The truck was left at the scene, and the occupants are still on the loose.
