Spokane police are investigating a stabbing that happened in West Central Spokane Sunday.

According to police, it happened in the 2300 block of West Broadway, just before 7 p.m.

Police said multiple girls got into a fight and it was over a boy. One of the girls was stabbed multiple times and was transported to a local hospital. The teen's injuries are non-life-threatening.

A different 17-year-old girl was arrested for 1st degree assault and another girl in the group was arrested on an unrelated warrant.
