SPOKANE -

Having arrested a 33-year-old career criminal Friday, The Spokane Police Department now has their sights set on his accomplice who is still on the run.

Police are looking for 35-year-old Albert Williamson, who is suspected of assisting Maxwell Jones in an armed robbery. Williamson is also suspected of recently burglarizing an elderly couple in March.

Police captured Jones when they received word he had been threatening potential witnesses and a robbery victim for cooperating with police. They set up surveillance in an area where Jones was believed to be staying and took him into custody.

Jones is well known in the law enforcement community as an armed career criminal and gang associate. He has six felony convictions ranging from Robbery and Assault to Property Crimes and Drugs.

Williamson is believed to be Jones' accomplice and also has an extensive criminal record and is classified by officers as a repeat offender. He has five felony convictions ranging from Vehicle Theft and Eluding to Bail Jumping.

Williamson is currently wanted for First Degree Armed Robbery with additional Charges coming.
