MANY HOMES ARE STILL RECOVERING FROM LAST YEAR'S WINDSTORM.
AND ROOFING COMPANIES SAY WORK HASN'T SLOWED DOWN.
KXLY 4'S BRITTANY PARIS CONTINUES OUR STORM TEAM COVERAGE.
WITH HOW ONE ROOFING COMPANY IS BRACING FOR IMPACT.
Damage still lingers from 2015's windstorm.
These roofers are out working in this weather just
to keep up.
But with this next round of wind, they anticipate

ROOFERS WITH HERITAGE ROOFING AND CONSTRUCTION IN
SPOKANE ARE JUST NOW GETTING TO DIANE ZIES'S NORTH
Diane Zeis, Homeowner
We patched it.
We knew they were all busy and we just waited.
A CHUNK OF HER ROOF WAS BLOWN OFF LAST NOVEMBER WHEN
THAT HISTORIC WINDSORM SLAMMED THE INLAND NORTHWEST.
LEAVING A TRAIL OF DESTRUCTION IN ITS PATH.
TED FLYNN, Owner of Heritage Roofing and Construction
This has been an exceptionally crazy year.
OWNER OF HERITAGE, TED FLYNN, SAYS HE'S HAD TO MORE
THAN TRIPLE HIS STAFF TO FIX ALL THEY HOMES THEY'VE
BEEN CALLED TO.
AND MORE THAN 95 PERCENT OF THEIR WORK IS THANKS TO
Nonstop from last November until now and it still
BUT WITH THE IMPENDING STORM HEADING OUR WAY TONIGHT.
FLYNN'S TEAM IS WORKING HARD TO ENSURE THAT WHEN THE
WIND PICKS UP, SHINGLES DON'T COME DOWN.
We're trying to make sure that everything's sealed,
that we've got a roof on and basically, it's water
HERITAGE OFFICE MANAGER MACKENZIE FLYNN SAYS IF YOUR
HOUSE IS DAMAGED, DOCUMENT IT, CALL YOUR INSURANCE
COMPANY AND A ROOFER TO TAKE A LOOK.
Mackenzie Flynn, Office Manager
The homeowner here got a check for $31 for the replacement
of his roof.
BUT HERITAGE CAME OUT, TOOK PHOTOS AND SENT A LETTER
TO THE ZIES'S INSURANCE COMPANY.
Now his entire roof will be paid for.
AND AS FAR AS THIS NEXT ROUND OF WIND GOES.
DIANE SAYS SHE'S NOT TOO WORRIED.
We'll just wait and see what happens.
