today spokane's local olive garden gave catered meals
to 16 fire stations in the area as a way to say thank
you on labor day.
TODAY, MORE THAN 800 OLIVE GARDEN RESTAURANTS NATIONWIDE
DELIVERED AND SERVED LUNCH TO POLICE STATIONS, FIRE
STATIONS, AND EMERGENCY ROOMS IN THEIR LOCAL COMMUNITIES.
THE NORTH SPOKANE OLIVE GARDEN DECIDED TO CATER TO
THE COMMUNITY'S FIREFIGHTERS, AS A THANK YOU FOR WORKING
SO HARD DURING WILDFIRE SEASON.
MANAGER CHANEL SNEAD SAYS THE RESTAURANT WASN'T REQUIRED
TO DELIVER TO ALL OF THE FIRE STATIONS, BUT SHE DIDN'T
WANT TO LEAVE ANYONE OUT.

we've been planning it for the last 3 weeks, most

went in at about 7 am this morning to start all the
food prep and i had probably about 15 people helping

YEAR, BECAUSE SHE LOVES TO SEE THE REACTIONS FROM
THE FIRST RESPONDERS WHEN THEY RECEIVE THEIR MEAL.
