SPOKANE, Wash. -

14-year-old Noel loves to climb on top a hulking horse and trot around the arena. But before she can ride of into the sunset with a handsome prince, she wants a forever family.

Last September, KXLY4 met Noel at her stable.

"It's fun riding horseys," Noel said.

She said she would like to race horses someday, but her therapeutic trainer, Bart, said that's not happening any time soon. Bart said right now, Noel needs a lot of supervision and is very curious about the world around her.

When she's not riding horses, she goes to school. In September, she will be starting her sophomore year in high school. She said she loves to learn and is ready to dig into the her lessons.

"I like math; I'm good at math," she said.

When Noel is done with school, she wants to be a cook at her favorite restaurant, McDonald's.

Noel is living in a foster home, but her program manager, Katie Ferrera, said she's ready for a family.

"Her smile lights up a room when she comes in. She's just a good kid," said Ferrera.

Noel's social workers would love to hear from two-parent families and single moms who are interested in adopting this sweet girl.

"She needs somebody that will love her and let her know she's constantly loved and important," said Ferrera.
