New Spokane Valley fire chief

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. -

The Board of Fire Commissioners has chosen a new fire chief for the Spokane Valley Fire Department.

According to SFVD, Bryan Collins from Walnut Creek, Calif. will start at the fire department on March 4.

Collins has more than 25 years of experience in firefighting. He retired last year from the San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District in San Ramon, Calif., where was the assistant fire chief for three years.
