A motorcyclist was flown to Sacred Heart Medical Center Monday afternoon after a serious crash on Highway 904 three miles west of Cheney.

Authorities at the scene of the crash said that the driver of a late model Subaru was merging intro traffic on Highway 904 and failed to yield to the motorcyclist, who had the right of way. The motorcycle hit the right side of the vehicle.

The motorcyclist suffered a serious injury to their right leg and was airlifted to Sacred Heart while the Subaru's driver was not injured.
