Man with gunshot wound may have shot self

SPOKANE, Wash. -

Spokane police say a man injured in an early-morning shooting on Wednesday in North Spokane may have shot himself.

Police went to a home in the 4900 block of North Regal just after 1 a.m. after hearing reports of gunshots.

They found a man who had been shot in the stomach.

Medics responded to the scene and the man was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police reported that people in the house told them the gunshot was self-inflicted.

The investigation is ongoing.
