The Spokane Valley Police Department is investigating a stabbing at the Crossland Economy Studio motel.

Sheriff's Deputies responded to the motel, at 12803 East Sprague, at five p.m. Saturday on reports that a fight had broken out. 

The deputies were told by motel employees that a man had been stabbed in one of the room and then walked off the property.

Deputies found the victim at a fast food restaurant. He had a stab wound and was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Detectives secured the room where the stabbing took place. At this point, it is unknown who the suspect or suspects are.
