The medical examiner has determined a man, whose body was found in a ditch near Medical Lake Sunday, died of hypothermia.

Sunday morning a driver near West Hallett Road and South Stangland spotted the body lying in a ditch and called emergency services.

The medical examiner identified the victim as 53-year-old Bruce King and said his cause of death is hypothermia. The circumstances surrounding his final hours, however, remain a mystery.

There are only a few houses near where his body was found and he was lying in a ditch so he could have been there for some time.
