Local restaurants give freebies on Veterans Day

Restaurants in Eastern Washington and North Idaho are giving veterans free appetizers, meals and discounts. Here are a few of the deals. Most of the offers require a valid form of identification, so come prepared.

Applebees: Free Signature Entree on Nov. 11

Golden Corral: Free dinner between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Nov. 12

Hooters: 10 free boneless wings with the purchase of a drink on Nov. 11

Olive Garden: Free entree on Nov. 11

Outback Steakhouse: Free Bloomin' Onion appetizer and drink on Nov. 11 and Nov. 12

Texas Roadhouse: free lunch 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Nov. 12

Krispy Kreme: Free doughnut and coffee on Nov. 11

Chili's: Veterans and active duty members dine for free from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Nov. 11

Denny's: Free all-you-can-eat pancakes from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Nov. 12

Red Robin: Free Tavern Double burger and bottomless steak fries on Nov. 12

Red Lobster: Free appetizer on Nov. 12
