Authorities are searching for a wanted felon who fled from the scene of a shots fired call early Tuesday morning in Coulee City.

Grant County Deputies and Coulee City Police were called at approximately 5:30 a.m. to a field near 617 West Douglas Street. When authorities arrived they stopped a vehicle leaving the area with three people inside. They also learned that a wanted felon, Cody Seely, had fled the area on foot as officers were stopping the car.

Cody Seely is wanted for residential burglary and is being sought by the US Marshals. He is well known in Coulee City and may be hiding out in the area. Seely is described as a white male, 24, 5’7”, 170 lbs. with short brown hair and a goatee.

Seely was last seen wearing a green baseball cap, red and black plaid shirt, blue jeans and cowboy boots. It is unknown if he is armed.

Anyone with information on Seely's whereabouts is asked to call 9-1-1.

One person, 25-year-old Ryan Kantola of Ephrata, was arrested in the shots fire call for unlawful possession of a firearm. A 15-year-old juvenile was taken to the Grant County Youth Services facility for suspicion of being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Two other people -- a 21-year-old and 15-year-old female -- were questioned and released.
