It's never too early to start planning your weekend and this Saturday you could be doing the Monroe Street pub crawl, where you can visit nine bars all raising money for charity.
Scout is where it all begins this Saturday at 5 p.m. From there, the crawlers will travel down Monroe Street and on to nine bars total.
Along the way you can expect lots of fun, making friends with the 100 or so pub crawlers expected at this year's event, drink specials at every bar, and you're also raising money for a good cause.
"Dozens of volunteers from Spokane travel to Jamaica every year to be involved in the dental project called 1000 smiles, eye care project called Icare and the literacy project called Superkids, so we affect change from a standpoint of health care and education in a country that so needs our partnership," Kay said.
A new treat this year is food will be provided by Jamaican jerk pan food truck; owner Doc will deliver his traditional jerk chicken dish to pub crawlers to help them make it through nine bars.
The pub crawl ends up in the Garland District at Rick's Ringside, three and a half miles from the starting bar.
