Flatbed truck hauling a trailer rolls, ejecting two people

ALBION, Wash. -

A flatbed truck hauling a trailer rolled on Highway 195 near Albion, causing multiple injuries.

According to KQQQ, the rollover accident happened around 9 a.m. Tuesday at milepost 28, nine miles north of Pullman, well off the highway.

Two males, ages 17 and 25 from Idaho, were ejected from the truck. Both males have serious, but non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to local hospitals via MedStar helicopters.

The highway near the scene was closed for about an hour, while MedStar was there, but has since been re-opened.

Washington State Patrol said they believe the driver caught the shoulder of the road and lost control.

No word on if they were wearing seat belts.
