The Washington State Patrol reports the driver responsible for Friday's deadly crash on Interstate 90 near the Geiger exit had been drinking.
Court documents show Robert Dyer, 25, was involved in a hit and run crash on westbound I-90 near the Thor/Freya exit.
A witness to that crash stayed on the line with 9-1-1 and followed Dyer until he slid off the freeway near the Geiger exit.
He slammed into Scott Moore, who had stopped to help another driver who had gone off in the same spot. Moore was killed.
Monday in court Dyer was charged with vehicular homicide. His bond was set at $250,000.
