Detectives need help finding fraud suspect

Spokane Valley Property Crime detectives need help identifying an identity theft suspect.

According to Deputy Craig Chamberlin, in August 2012, a man purchased several thousand dollars worth of merchandise from two separate Ace Hardware stores using stolen checks. The checks were taken during a vehicle prowling.

Deputy Chamberlin said the man was using identification that was stolen from a locker at Spokane Community College. He was also driving a stolen Toyota truck that has since been recovered.
