Car dealership owner cited for sexual assault
A Spokane Valley used car dealership owner was arrested last weekend on charges he inappropriately touched women responding to job postings for his business.
Monte Masingale, 76, was cited and released on two counts of Assault 4th Degree with Sexual Motivation.
The charges stem from incidents in December 2011 and May 2012 where two women responded to job postings at Masingale's business.
During their meetings with Masingale he allegedly inappropriately touched them.
Masingale is the owner of Greenacres Motors, located at 18111 E. Appleway Ave. in Spokane Valley. A records check with the Better Business Bureau showed that the business has an 'F' rating with the BBB, and has received 7 complaints in the last three years, none of which the car dealership ever responded to.
Detectives believe these are not isolated incidents and are asking anyone else who experienced something similar when dealing with Masingale to conduct the sheriff's office at (509) 477-4719.
