Avista restores power to 10,000 customers

Avista working to restore power across region
SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. -

Avista says rain combined with wind caused thousands of people in the area to lose power Saturday morning.

Outages ranged from Lewiston all the way up to Spokane to Coeur d'Alene.

Nearly 10,000 customers lost power. Avista says weather could cause more outages Sunday and Monday.
