400 register to vote on last day in Spokane County

SPOKANE, Wash. -

About 400 people registered Monday at the Spokane County elections office to vote in next Tuesday's election.

The Spokesman-Review reports that compares with 1,700 who signed up on the last day in 2008.

Auditor Vicky Dalton says a record 281,000 people are registered to vote in Spokane County. That's 26,000 more than four years ago.
