3.1 quake shakes Entiat Valley

ENTIAT, Wash. -

Residents of the Entiat Valley described a loud boom and shaking Tuesday afternoon that lasted about five seconds.

The Pacific Northwest Seismic Network recorded a magnitude 3.1 earthquake. It occurred about 5 p.m. and was centered about six miles northwest of Entiat, about 18 miles north of Wenatchee.

KPQ reports there was no damage.
