THEIR SAFETY AND WELL-BEING.
WHEN DRIVING THROUGH THIS NORTH SPOKANE NEIGHBORHOOD
THERE IS ONE HOUSE THAT STICKS OUT AMONGST THE REST.
NEIGHBORS SAY THE OWNER LEFT THE HOME TO HER SON A
FEW YEARS BACK AND SINCE THEN.
THINGS HAVE TAKEN A TURN FOR THE WORST.
INCLUDING FREQUENT VISITORS, TRASH PILING UP IN THE
BACKYARD, AND DRUG PARAPHERNALIA IN THE ROADS
I got to pick up medical syringes every morning, marijuana
IN MAY THE HOME WAS RAIDED.
NEIGHBORS SAY IN ADDITION TO DRUGS DEPUTIES FOUND
A stolen toyota pick up, two jet skis in the living
room and two stolen motorcycles, he was subsequently
charged with 8 felonies.

CARS, TRASH, AND EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN CONTINUED TO
PILE UP IN THE BACKYARD.
JSUT LAST WEEKEND.
SOME OF IT CAUGHT ON FIRE.
Nichole Edwards :
It's jsut been a nightmare.
I can't play in my own back yard with the children,
you're constantly having to look out your window at
night wondering if they're going to scope out your
house to rob you for drug money.
NICHOLE EDWARDS DIDN'T WANT TO GO ON CAMERA.
SHE SAYS MANY OF HER NEIGHBORS HAVE LIVED IN THEIR
HOMES FOR OVER 60 YEARS.
BUT RECENTLY MANY ARE QUESTIONG STAYING.
While we have a beautiful great neighborhood with
wonderful neighbors, one neighbor has just ruined
it for us.
A HEARING WAS HELD IN JUNE TO DETERMINE THE FUTURE
OF THE HOUSE.
BUT BAYNES SAYS THE OWNER WAS A NO SHOW.
She wasn't there nor was a representative authorized
to be there on her behlf, therefore action should
have been taken immediately.
The car could be towed easily, it wouldn't take but
a few hours to have somebody come and clean up! I'm
a tax payer, it should be able to live in a safe clean
THE CITY SAYS THE OWNER REFUSES TO SIGN DOCUMENTS
ALLOWING THE CITY ON THE PROPERTY.
THEY CAN'T JUST ENTER THE HOME SINCE IT IS PRIVATE
THEY ARE HOWEVER SEEKING OTHER AVENUES NOW TO GET
ACCESS AND TAKE CARE OF THE ISSUE.
IN THE MEANTIME NEIGHBORS ARE ADVISED TO CALL 9-1-1
IF THEY SEE ANYONE ON THE PROPERTY.
THE NEXT HEARING ON THE HOUSE IS NOVEMEBER 8TH AND
