ITS HARD TO COOK FOR A FAMILY WHEN THE POWER'S OUT.
Last nights storm left over 30,000 homes with out
power and for many the inability to cook any food.
But those 30,000 homes still have to eat.
THE PARKING LOTS OF RESTAURANTS NEAR AREAS WITHOUT
POWER HAVE BEEN FULL SINCE LAST NIGHTS STORM RIPPED
THROUGH EASTERN WASHINGTON.
BUT PERHAPS THE BUSIEST HAS BEEN LOCAL PIZZA DELIVERY
JOINTS LIKE PIZZA RITA ON NORTH WALL.
THEY'VE BEEN SLAMMED WITH ORDERS SINCE LAST NIGHT
AND SAY DESPITE A FULL STAFF, ARE HAVING A HARD TIME
The last couple of days we've had to pull the phones
off of the hooks because they just wouldn't stop ringing
because people we're just calling, ya our power's
out, is your power out, cause we'd like pizza
IF YOU WANT TO GET A SEAT SOMEHWERE, YOUR BEST BET
IS TO HEAD TO AN AREA WITH HOMES NOT AFFECTED BY OUTAGES.
Pizza Rita expects the rush to subside as homes continue
to get power back, but come by anyway.
Who doesn't like pizza.
