POLICE SAY AROUND THIS AFTERNOON A WHITE MAN ABOUT
30 YEARS OLD, ENTERED THE STORE WITH A HANDGUN, DEMANDED
CASH, AND TOOK OFF TO THE NORTH.
DETECTIVES CANVASSED THE AREA AND ARE LOOKING THROUGH
THE BUILDING EVEN HAS SIGNS ON THE FRONT AND BACK
TELLING PEOPLE THEY ARE ON CAMERA -- BUT THAT APPARENTLY
DIDN'T STOP THE SUSPECT.
DETECTIVES WORKING THIS STRING OF ARMED ROBBERIES
WILL NOW TRY AND DETERMINE IF THIS ONE IS RELATED
TO THE OTHER NINE OVER THE PAST MONTH.
BRAD ARLETH, SPOKANE POLICE @ 13
I think until we get a good look at the video and
the detectives working the case that are familiar
with the other cases that we could connect this to
if it's related have a chance to look at that.
It's just a little too early for me to provide accurate
information on that.
SPOKANE POLICE SAY THE MAN IS DESCRIBED AS A WHITE
MAN, ABOUT 30 YEARS OLD, AND SIX FEET TALL.
HE WAS WEARING A GRAY JACKET AND GRAY HAT WHEN HE
ENTERED THE STORE.
WE'RE HOPING ONCE THEY REVIEW THAT VIDEO -- SOME OF
IT MAY BE RELEASED.
