The Stevens County Sheriff's Office is searching for the body of a 21-year-old Spokane man who is believed to have drowned in the Little Spokane River near Ford, Wash.

The man disappeared in the river Friday night around 7:30. He was not wearing a life jacket.

He was swimming with friends when they reported he went missing in the water. No foul play or alcohol is believed to be involved.

The Stevens County Sheriff's Office is now searching for his body.

The man has yet to be identified.
