Two people have been treated for minor injuries after a Christmas tree fire caused major damage to a home in Pasco.

The Tri-City Herald reports that firefighters arrived at the scene Thursday night to find flames coming out almost all of the home's basement windows. The Christmas tree was located in the basement.

Battalion Chief Dave Ferguson of the Pasco Fire Department says two of the seven people who lived at the home were treated for minor injuries.
