17-year-old arrested in Hillyard for machete attack
SPOKANE, Wash. -

A 17-year-old boy was arrested for first degree robbery and assault with a machete Sunday night.

Police are still looking for three of his accomplices.

Officers were called to the area of Bridgeport and Ferrall in Hillyard around 8:00.

Police say the 17-year-old stole a bicycle from someone in the area and slashed them with a machete.

Officers found the teen's car on the 3500 block of Bridgeport - which led them to finding the suspect hiding in a shed with his machete.

Police believe he is also connected to another assault and robbery that happened right around the same time and area.

The attack is still under investigation.
