Washington gubernatorial debate airs Thursday night on KXLY
Washington's candidates for governor meet in their highest-profile debate Thursday night in Seattle, following the televised vice presidential debate.
Five Seattle TV stations and others in the state, including KXLY here in Spokane, are airing the one-hour debate between Democrat Jay Inslee and Republican Rob McKenna. They'll be questioned by a panel of TV reports and anchors.
Polls indicate a close race to replace outgoing Gov. Chris Gregoire.
Inslee and McKenna will meet in their final debate on Oct. 16.
KXLY will air the debate live at 9 p.m. both on-air and online at KXLY.com. The debate will follow the vice presidential debate between Joe Biden and Paul Ryan. ABC News will have live coverage of that debate beginning at 6 p.m.
You can also watch the debate online here at KXLY.com.
