NEZ PERCE COUNTY, Idaho - One man and 20 cows were killed in a rollover semi crash Sunday afternoon, according to Idaho State Police. It happened along Waha Rd. near Webb Rd. just after 2:00 p.m.
The driver, Robert Parkins of Troy, Idaho was going around a right curve in the roadway and lost control of the truck. The semi rolled onto its side and slid off of the roadway, and rolled down the embankment.
Parkins and a passenger were ejected. The semi rolled on top of both of them killing Parkins and seriously injuring the passenger. The passenger was taken to Spokane via life flight. Only a few of the cows survived the crash.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
