SELAH, Wash. -

The 15-square mile wildfire near Selah is no longer threatening any homes.

Janet Pearce of the state Department of Natural Resources says favorable winds on Tuesday night pushed the flames away from homes and toward the Yakima River.

Pearce says the fire has burned one outbuilding, but no other structures.

There are no reports of injuries among the firefighters.

Pearce says people who had been evacuated from their homes Tuesday were allowed to return.

The cause of the fire has not been determined. But officials have said it may have been started by target shooting that ignited dry grass.
