IDAHO FALLS, Idaho -

Several school districts in eastern Idaho are closing schools as temperatures dip below zero across much of the state.

Idaho Falls television station KIFI reports that Idaho Falls, Oneida County, Grace and other school districts announced the closures Monday, along with some schools in Fort Hall, Blackfoot and elsewhere.

The temperature was about 8 degrees below in much of eastern Idaho, dipping to 13 degrees below zero in Ashton on Monday morning.
