YAKIMA, Wash. -

A Selah Junior High School teacher who resigned after a tiny video camera was found under a girl's desk was arraigned Tuesday in Yakima on voyeurism charges.

David G. McMillen remains free while awaiting trial. He denied owning or installing the camera.

Yakima Herald-Republic reports the 52-year-old Terrace Heights man was an 18-year employee of the Selah School District.  He was forced to resign in October 2011 after the camera was found in his ninth-grade science class. He was paid nearly $17,000 not to challenge his termination.
