Bend, OR -

The search is continuing Monday morning for a skier on Mount Bachelor.

Deschutes County deputies and the Mount Bachelor Ski Patrol believe 21-year-old Ryan Melrose DeYoung of Bend went past a "catch line" Sunday on the ski resort boundary.

KTVZ reports DeYoung is described as autistic.

Search and rescue teams have been searching the slopes by ski and snowmobiles.

Authorities also called in an Air Link helicopter and requested an Oregon National Guard helicopter.

They were also investigating the possibility DeYoung had made it to a highway and caught a ride to Bend.
