PORTLAND, Ore. -

Police say a gang enforcement team will be making extra patrols in southeast Portland the next few days because of a gang-related homicide Sunday morning that left a woman dead and an earlier shooting downtown that wounded three men.

Police say they don't know if the shootings are connected.

The three men were wounded when shots were fired in a fight between two groups.

Later, a 21-year-old woman, Ervaeua Ronchelle Herring, was killed in a shooting at the Eastwood Village Apartments. Witnesses told police several men with guns are suspects. Police say the shooting appears to be gang-related.
