No bail for brothers held in fatal Salem shooting
Two brothers accused in the shooting death of a man in Salem are being held without bail after their arraignment Monday in Marion County Court.
The brothers, 23-year-old Eddie Lopez and 22-year-old Lorenzo Lopez-Gordillo, are accused of killing 23-year-old Charlie Rivera on Sept. 7 as he sat in a car outside an apartment building.
The Statesman Journal reports police say Rivera was dating a woman who had had a child with Lopez and she told his brother that Rivera had beaten her.
