A Missoula man is charged with stealing a woman's prescription pain medication as she left a Stevensville grocery store.
The Ravalli Republic reports 46-year-old Rocco Frank Corbino appeared before Justice of the Peace Robin Clute on Thursday on felony counts of robbery, theft, and criminal possession of dangerous drugs.
Charging documents alleged Corbino ran up behind a woman leaving the store and took her prescription of 90 Dilaudid pills on Aug. 19.
A witness described the vehicle to officers and got its license plate number, allowing them to trace it to a woman from Plains. Police learned Corbino and the woman were in a relationship.
The woman was arrested in Stevensville on Aug. 28. Corbino was arrested later on a bench warrant.
Corbino's bail was set at $25,000.
