Police say a 22-year-old Boise man spit in an officer's face after being pulled over on suspicion of drunken driving.
Boise police officials say an officer was nearly hit by another vehicle early Saturday. The officer stopped the driver and smelled alcohol on his breath.
Officials say the man yelled racial slurs and spit in the officer's face while he was being arrested.
