A Hermiston-area family escaped injury when a truck crashed onto their property.
The East Oregonian reports the truck veered off Diagonal Road Tuesday afternoon, plowing through two fences before striking the family's Nissan Armada. A corner of the vehicle was pushed through the bathroom wall.
Homeowner Randy Winkler says he initially thought it was thunder, but then realized the house was shaking too much for that.
Winkler's wife Betty called 9-1-1 and ran outside to the find the driver merely bruised.
Deputies gave the driver a sobriety test and put him in handcuffs.
