A woman scheduled for five trials in six days in Clackamas County Circuit Court lost the first one Wednesday when she was convicted of harassment.

The Oregonian reports all the charges against 48-year-old Susan Lenor Funk involve threatening behavior or physical confrontation.

The cases piled up because the district attorney's office faces a deadline for misdemeanor cases and Funk was in Oregon State Hospital for nearly a year for mental health evaluation and treatment.

Funk is well-known to deputies and once volunteered for a program to train police how to handle mentally ill people.
