A Cascade County sheriff's deputy has been arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor driving under the influence in Great Falls over the weekend.
The Great Falls Tribune reported Monday Matt Darlington was off duty when he was arrested shortly before midnight Friday.
Cascade County officials say Darlington also faces a charge of careless driving and that his license was revoked because he refused a field sobriety test.
No phone listing could be found for him.
He has been placed on paid administrative leave.
In 2010, Darlington was honored by the Cascade County DUI Task Force for his work in arresting DUI offenders.
