A Boise-based nonprofit that refurbishes donated computers and gives them to students just might be helping with the bedtime schedule for a Twin Falls family.

Dawnette Crofts and her children were among dozens of Twin Falls-area families that picked up computers Friday from the organization Computers for Kids.

Crofts tells The Times-News that one laptop just wasn't enough for her six school-age children to get their homework done, and it seemed someone was always staying up late to finish an assignment.

Crofts says having two computers should help alleviate the wait.

Computers for Kids provides computers to students in kindergarten through the first two years of college. There aren't any income requirements, but students must fill out an application, write an essay and pay a $35 processing fee.
