A 17-year-old Billings girl says she still wants to get her pilot's license after surviving a training flight crash in the mountains of Wyoming.
McKenzie Morgan spoke with The Billings Gazette Wednesday evening, a day after surviving the crash of her Cessna 172 with cuts, a sprained knee and whiplash.
Morgan says got into a valley where she couldn't turn the plane around and was forced to the ground after a gust of wind hit the left wing.
She couldn't use her radio to contact anyone, so she gathered items she would need, took pictures of the plane and -- preparing for the worst -- made a video for her family, apologizing for the crash and telling them she loved them.
Two hunters got her back to safety.
