A weekend shooting in Billings left one man dead and another in jail.
The Billings Gazette reports 35-year-old Mahpevana-Hane Bearcomesout was arrested early Monday on suspicion of deliberate homicide and tampering with evidence in the death of 32-year-old Misael Santiago.
Yellowstone County Coroner Lt. Bill Jones says Santiago died of three gunshot wounds to the chest. His body was found in the driveway of a house in northern Billings at about 10 a.m. Sunday.
In May, Bearcomesout was arrested after a disturbance at a North Side house and charged with three counts of felony assault with a weapon, aggravated assault, partner of family member assault and two counts of criminal endangerment. He posted a $7,500 bond on June 14.
