Police said they have detained a suspect in a shootout outside a Federal Way bar that left a man dead and six other people wounded.
According to police, a violent argument erupted outside Johnny's Famous Grill and Bar just after 2 a.m. Wednesday and then at least two men fired shots. One 23-year-old fell dead on the sidewalk.
Six people were wounded during the shooting and they went to three different hospitals.
According to police, a woman is most seriously wounded. The other five people are expected to recover. All are in their 20s or 30s.
Police also said that the suspect is one of two people being treated at a hospital in Renton.
The motive for the shooting, including whether it's gang-related, remains under investigation.
