MALAGA, Wash. -

The Chelan County sheriff's office says a body found at a brush fire Friday morning at Malaga may have been a homeless camper.

Sgt. Jerry Moore told The Wenatchee World firefighters found the body in debris that appeared to be a homeless camp.

The fire was reported at 2:20 a.m. in a strip of trees about halfway up a hillside. Neighbors told investigators they think one person was living at the camp.
