HONOLULU -

Alaska Airlines is adding to its seasonal service.

The Honolulu Star-Advertiser says the airlines' first Portland-to- Kauai flight will arrive in Lihue on Monday afternoon after an 11:20 a.m. takeoff from Oregon.

The seasonal service is an addition to the airline's existing schedule of flights between Portland and Honolulu, Maui and Kona.

The Portland-to- Kauai flight isn't the only addition. The Seattle-based airlines also will initiate seasonal service between Bellingham, Wash. and Maui on Thursday, adding to its Bellingham-to-Honolulu service.

Meanwhile, another seasonal route between Anchorage and Kona on the Big Island will commence Saturday.
