Police in Helena are investigating the theft of a valuable painting from the Easter Seals Goodwill store.
Employees reported the painting missing on Jan. 10. The rendition of "The Last Supper" by Japanese artist Sadao Watanabe was priced at $2,000, but the painting on rice paper is valued at about $2,600. Store spokeswoman Chelle Feist says the painting was displayed on a higher shelf.
Security cameras captured images of a man taking the painting. Police are seeking help to identify the suspect, who is described as a white male with short, sandy-blond hair, a medium build and glasses.
