Two Seattle security guards are splitting a $20,000 reward for helping locate more than $600,000 worth of wine that was stolen from a wine store and storage facility.
The Seattle Times reports that the owner of Esquin Wine Merchants presented the reward recently to Jim White and Terry Ottaway Jr. of Northwest Security Services.
The Times says a Northwest Security Services supervisor would say only that the men provided security for the storage facility where the stolen wine was found nearly two weeks after the Thanksgiving Day theft.
Esquin spokesman Dan Miller says Ottaway told White that Seattle police were asking people to be on the alert for the stolen wine and that White was able to identify "suspicious activity" while reviewing hours of security video.
Two men have been arrested and charged with theft, burglary and attempted arson.
